San Mango D’Aquino, Italy
Before he became an artisan, Franco Arcuri started out in the service industry, as a CPA and co-founder of an accounting firm.
Throughout his career, Franco always expressed his creativity by taking care of his looks and attire, understanding fine clothing as a form of self care, where the senses are stimulated by the feel of the fabric on the skin and the beauty of pairing colours and patterns.
Supported by his wife Maria Teresa and her great tailoring skills, Franco managed to turn his passion and creativity into a real life enterprise.
Without obsessing over quantity, Franco prefers to focus on a small and very limited production that allows him to take care of each single tie one by one. Its business revolves around the typical virtues of craftsmanship: quality, exclusivity and tailor-made.
This translates into a promise to create a unique and exclusive product. A promise that starts from the selection of only the finest natural fibres – such as merino wool, cashmere or Italian silk – and which continues through our meticulous attention to detail at each stage of production, all of which are strictly carried out by hand.
Next to Franco, Maria Teresa plays a fundamental role as she is responsible for quality control. The ties are inspected during each phase with absolute care to avoid any flaws.
From the small town of Sango Mango D’Aquino (Calabria), the Arcuri artisanal products have been appreciated throughout the world, landing as far as in America and Japan.
